Walk to School Day is October 6th, 2021!

2021 Registration Form is HERE (to be completed by schools)

Each year, Walk Bike Nashville hosts Nashville's Walk to School Day, our biggest Walk Nashville Month event!

In 2019 55 schools signed up and 12,000 students, parents, teachers and community partners participated in Walk to School Day as a city-wide demonstration of support for improving our children's physical activity and encouraging safe, walkable neighborhoods.

The 2019 highlight school was Dupont Tyler Middle School.

Students, parents and guests will walk 0.5 mile from Hermitage United Methodist Church to school, along streets closed to cars - and open for people!

We hope attendees will also include the McGavock High School marching band and cheerleaders, The Mayor, MNPS and Public Health Department Directors, school board members, Council members - and perhaps some fun celebrities!

The list below is all of the schools that have registered a Walk to School Day 2019 event in Davidson County.

If you are looking for more detailed guidance on planning your school's event, check out our 2018 Walk to School Day Participating School's Handbook.
