Walk to School Day is October 4th, 2023!

2023 Registration Form is coming soon (to be completed by schools)

Walk to School Day is a chance for us to promote healthy habits, family and community support, and bring attention to the safety concerns of neighborhoods so that children have safe routes to school.

In 2021, 27 schools took part, and over 6,000 students, parents, and community members participated in a community walk to jumpstart our student's day! We are so excited to see so many more of you back this year!

Last year our highlight school was J. E. Moss Elementary. We would like to thank Ms. Jennifer Hurst and Principal Febles for their support and work to make the event a success. A big thank you also to Mayor Cooper for attending and MNPD for their escorts.

Our highlight school for 2022 will be GLENVIEW ELEMENTARY

We want to thank Principal Dr. McGill and P. E. teacher Pamela Jackson for their commitment to health, safety and education.

If you would like to volunteer for our day of event please sign up here! VOLUNTEER FORM
