Each year, we lose over one thousand fellow Tennesseans in fatal crashes. We hope you will join us for the annual World Day of Remembrance for crash victims at the Civic Plaza outside of Murfreesboro's City Hall. This year's event is Sunday, November 16, at 2:00 p.m.
We will hear stories from those who have lost loved ones, hold a candlelight vigil, and have a call to action to memorialize crash victims and support their families. Please join us in sharing a meal after the event to meet and discuss street safety. The location is TBD, but will be walking distance from Civic Plaza.
We ask that you RSVP if you are able, and share the attached graphic with your friends and family- especially anyone affected by traffic violence. We also ask that attendees wear yellow in remembrance of victims. Together, we can make our state's streets safer for all.
