In Case you Missed It!

  • Mayor O'Connell announced the details of his transportation improvement program: Choose How You Move focused on sidewalks, service, safety, and signals. Want to see what's coming to your area? Check out the new interactive map. The program will add an additional 86 miles of sidewalks and 35 miles of new or upgraded biking facilities. Pending Metro Council approval, the program will be voted on by Nashvillians in November.
  • We had a successful membership meeting at Bringle's previewing Tour de Nash, talking transit, and sharing stories on traffic calming/slow streets. WBN member Ben presented on his successes getting traffic calming along his bike commute. Mark your calendars for our next member meeting June 10 at Hadley Park.
