Music City Pedal Prix – a family-friendly fun walk, ride, or run
August 7th, 2021
As you may have heard, the Music City Grand Prix is coming to Nashville August 6th - 8th. Walk Bike Nashville has partnered with the event for a family-friendly fun ride, walk or run event on the morning of August 7th.
We know what you’re thinking. Why would Walk Bike Nashville partner with a car race? Well, we’ll admit it’s not our normal course of business, but we’re excited about the event both as a fundraiser, and to enable community members to enjoy a morning of car-free streets. And, well, it turns out that some of our members actually like car racing, too!
Before all of the racing action begins on August 7th, the 2.17-mile track, which goes along the Korean Veterans Memorial Bridge and Nissan Stadium, will be open for our Walk Bike Nashville community to walk/run/skate/bike on the streets… car free! A portion of each ticket sale purchased through Walk Bike Nashville will be donated to us at Walk Bike.
Bring the family or a group of friends to join in on the fun! Group tickets available, and children under 2 get free admission.
By purchasing a ticket through Walk Bike Nashville, you will receive
- Access to the street (without cars, from 7:30am-9:00am) to roam the course with your own two feet or your own two wheels
- A General Admission ticket to Saturday’s Music City Grand Prix event, which includes: all-day access to the festival grounds, fan zone, racing activities, and music performances
- A t-shirt for the event
If you purchase a ticket before August 1st, the Music City Grand Prix/Ticketmaster will be emailing your virtual ticket before the event on August 7th.
If you purchase a ticket after August 1st, you will receive a paper ticket at the Pedal Prix check-in on August 7th.
Our Eventbrite registration serves as your confirmation of payment; however, it is not your ticket to the event. The Music City Grand Prix/Ticketmaster ticket will include the Music City Pedal Prix admission ticket, as well as your General Admission ticket to Saturday, August 7th's Music City Grand Prix festivities.
