Tour de Nash 2025 was a huge success! Our 21st running saw over 1,100 registered riders, three routes across 45 miles, and one unforgettable day on two wheels.

Thanks to all of our volunteers, community partners, and riders for making Saturday such a special day. We’re especially grateful to presenting sponsor LDA Engineering and Nashville Department of Transportation and Multimodal Infrastructure for operations support.

We’ve got a whole album of photos from photographer Gina Di Maio on our Facebook page — see if you can spot yourself! Also, check out our recap video from Schuyler Howie.

Who rode with us?

We had 1,134 registered riders this year, making it one of our biggest rides yet! Our riders came from 18 states spanning California to Florida, and we had a pair come all the way from Ontario, Canada to explore our city. We welcomed two puppies in a particularly stylish sidecar and a feathered TDN veteran.

Several city officials rode, too. Mayor Freddie O’Connell pedaled the 5-Mile City Tour with his family, and Vice Mayor Angie Henderson and Council Member Brenda Gadd took the same route. Council Members Burkley Allen, Jacob Kupin, Rollin Horton, and Sean Parker, meanwhile, tackled the 25-Mile City Tour. We’re grateful for their support!

We were especially excited to welcome blind tandem cycling teams assembled by Achilles Nashville. Reporter Chris Harris of WSMV produced a great story about these uniquely collaborative riding teams — check it out!

Where did we ride?

Each year, we design our routes to showcase both the city’s best bike infrastructure and neighborhoods that might not be as familiar to cyclists. The 25-Mile Local Tour and 45-Mile Grand Tour routes swung from downtown into East, South, and West Nashville, hitting beloved spots like the Music City Bikeway, Adventure Science Center, McCabe Park, and many more.

Maybe our most exciting addition was the 5-Mile City Tour. After hosting an Open Street at last year’s Tour de Nash, we set an ambitious goal to open up a massive loop around downtown as our biggest Open Street ever. This became our City Tour route! It was so great to see riders of all ages take over the streets and greenways looping along the Cumberland River through neighborhoods like Rolling Mill Hill and The Gulch. We partnered with several shops and restaurants along the route to give discounts for riders just for showing their ride numbers — we hope you checked some of them out!

Everything ended at the Nashville Farmers’ Market, where we had our Finish Line Block Party. Despite a dicey forecast in the days heading into Tour de Nash, the sun shone from the starting countdown to the moment our last rider crossed under the blue finish line arch. It’s a day we can’t wait to relive soon. Speaking of which…

What’s next?

Couldn’t get enough of the 5-Mile City Tour? Neither could we! That’s why we’re opening up downtown streets to people for our Open Streets Summer Series! From noon to 5 p.m., every third Sunday in June, July, and August, we’ll close the same route to cars.

Whether you're stopping at a restaurant for a snack, catching an outdoor performance at a music venue, or popping into a local shop, there are so many ways to try out new spots or revisit old favorites. Or, claim your own space and sidewalk games or just kick back and relax.

There’s no registration required to participate. Just hop on your bike — or grab a skateboard, roller skates, or a comfy pair of walking shoes — and join us for a citywide block party! We hope you’ll find a new favorite spot in town.
