This is a volunteer opportunity for the 2025 Tour de Nash. If you volunteer for this, you will receive a TDN t-shirt along with any other swag given out.

You will be the last biker on the route ensuring no one falling behind is lost or injured. You will need to be an experienced rider and familiar with the 45 route beforehand and know where rest stops are located. You will supply support to riders that want to complete the ride but are losing steam. You may be working as a team with other sweepers and occasionally have to block an intersection for safe passage.

This role is very important in providing a safe and fun time to riders that are less experienced or nervous. It is your responsibility to ride behind everyone else to ensure no one gets lost or left behind. An e-bike can be provided if desired.

Here is a link for more info on what a sweeper is /does. As this is the 45-mile tour only experienced riders who have ridden in group rides should sign up. We highly recommend studying or even riding your route prior to the morning of the tour.
