This is a volunteer opportunity for the 2026 Tour de Nash. If you volunteer for this, you will receive a coupon code for one free Tour de Nash registration (T-shirt and rider packet included).

You will be the last biker on the route ensuring no one falling behind gets lost or is injured. You will need to be an experienced rider and familiar with the 25-mile route beforehand and know where rest stops are located. You will supply support to riders that want to complete the ride but are losing steam. You may be working as a team with other sweepers and occasionally have to cork an intersection for safe passage. This role is very important in providing a safe and fun time to riders that are less experienced or nervous. It is your responsibility to ride behind everyone else to ensure no one gets lost or left behind. An e-bike can be provided if desired. Here is a link for more info on what a sweeper is /does. Since this is for the 25-mile route, only experienced riders should sign up. We highly recommend studying or even riding your route prior to the morning of the tour.
