Jonathan and Michelle Kelsey's Plateau to Percy Fundraiser

This fall we will be riding in Walk Bike Nashville's third annual Plateau to Percy Bike Tour -- a 225 mile journey from Dunlap, TN on the Cumberland Plateau to Percy Priest Lake. This ride will raise funds for Walk Bike Nashville to support its Families for Safe Streets Program (FSS). FSS is an advocacy and support group for victims and family members of traffic violence.

Jonathan's story: On December 4, 2021 while cycling on the streets of Nashville, I had a cycling accident. On December 14, 2021, I had major surgery on my left knee to repair a ruptured quadricep. My doctor and physical therapist said that I am healing well and on the road to full recovery. To celebrate my return to cycling, I am partnering with Walk Bike Nashville to raise funds for families for safe streets program.

Michelle's story: Exercise has become a therapy of sorts; a very powerful expression of freedom in the face of chronic migraine disease.  Unfortunately, the winter of 2021 brought with it the challenges of failed migraine procedures and debilitating effects from ineffective medications.  I joined this fundraiser because I wish to support - in a way that is personal and meaningful to me - other people who have also experienced pain.

We are hoping to raise at least $3,000 for the ride. Will you donate to support us?
